Our focused and intensive revision courses are designed to prepare students from any school thoroughly for their GCSE and A Level exams and to help them realise their full potential. Easter Revision Courses by Ipswich School motivate students and provide them with a structured learning environment to boost their knowledge and confidence as well as focus on examination preparation.
We are now also offering a homestay option for students coming from farther afield. Please email for details.

– A Level –
A Level courses will take place over 4 full days in each of the two weeks of Easter (2nd-5th April and 8th-11th April 2024). It will, therefore, be possible to take 2 subjects over the two-week programme.
– Subjects offered –
Biology, Business*, Chemistry, Economics, Geography, Mathematics and Physics.

– GCSE –
GCSE courses will take place over either 4 mornings or 4 afternoons in each of the two weeks of Easter (2nd-5th April and 8th-11th April 2024). It will, therefore, be possible to take 2 subjects in any one week or up to 4 subjects over the two-week programme.
– Subjects offered –
Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, English Language, English Literature* (AQA only), Geography, Mathematics and Physics.

N.B.: If a subject does not enough students to be viable, an alternative will be offered or a refund given.
*English Literature – please email the books being studied to ensure compliance with course.

– Key Information –
- Students from any school who are in their final year of GCSE or A Level can attend.
- ALL courses will take place at Ipswich School, Henley Road, Ipswich in well-equipped classrooms.
- A maximum of 10 students per class.
- Courses will be suitable for all examination boards unless otherwise stated.
- Timetable : 09.30am – 12.45pm; 13.15pm – 16.30pm (GCSE students 12 hours tuition (plus breaks) per subject; A Level students 24 hours (plus breaks) per subject). Each day is broken up into individual sessions making learning more accessible.
- Talented and experienced staff delivering tailored course content, study skills, examination technique and practice, and building confidence.
- Each student receives resources, and a personal progress report at the end of their course(s).
- Dress code is casual as you’d expect during the holidays.
